The world's best selling Pan African magazine - As seen on TV

The Africa Report, having gone monthly in February 2011 with a revamped design and layout, has produced a TV commercial that goes on air this month on major international EMEA news channels, including CNN and Euronews. The commercial will be aired in weekly waves every month from February to September 2012.

As part of a new drive to reach the rapidly growing African and international business community, the TV commercial focuses on The Africa Report's insight and analysis of Africa's fast- changing political and economic landscape.

The uniquely fresh and creative 30" TV commercial was conceptualised, created and produced by young French director/producer Jérémie Duriez. Duriez's concept takes well-worn African clichés and transforms them into 21st century realities. The strength of the commercial lies in Duriez's simple and clever animation of 2-D drawings to illustrate the continent's "then" and "now", before introducing The Africa Report as the essential tool to understanding these changes, along with its new pay-off line "Understand Africa's tomorrow...today".

A print extension of the television campaign is underway and will be launched later on this month.
