Zimbabwe: Telecoms and Banks lock horns over mobile banking

Econet's transfer service, Ecocash, has over 3 million subscribers and has handled transactions worth over $2 billion since it launched in August 2011The Bankers Association of Zimbabwe (BAZ) and the country's mobile telecommunication firms offering mobile banking services are headed for a clash as bankers say there is no legal framework regulating the practice.
