Despite the airline industry’s current difficulties, Boeing predicts that its African fleet will grow by 3.6% per year over the next 20 years and thus be worth a market value of $400bn.

“The African continent is following the same resilience and recovery trend as China, Europe and the Americas,” says Randy Heisey, Boeing’s general manager of commercial marketing for the Middle East and Africa.

This promising observation was confirmed by the figures in Boeing’s Commercial Market Outlook (CMO) report for 2021.
