Guinea: Alpha Conde has left Conakry for Abu Dhabi

According to our sources, the plane carrying the former Guinean president, a Gulfstream G-IV, took off from Ahmed Sekou Touré International Airport in the early afternoon of 17 January.

Alpha Conde obtained permission from Mamadi Doumbouya to leave the country to receive treatment in Abu Dhabi. He is accompanied by his doctor, Dr Kaba, and two bodyguards.
