Nigeria 2023: MC Oluomo, from area boy to Bola Tinubu campaign council

Musiliu Akinsanya, a man who gained notoriety from extracting money from commercial drivers and traders in the streets of Lagos, could play a significant role in determining the victory of presidential hopeful Bola Tinubu, having been appointed into the campaign council of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).  

In March 2015, a few weeks before the highly anticipated presidential election, transport union kingpin Musiliu Akinsanya aka MC Oluomo was on the run from the police after being implicated in a fracas in the Oshodi area of Lagos State that left many injured and at least one person dead.
