German vice-chancellor Robert Habeck has accused Russia of weaponising food and energy against Ukraine and Europe, as well as Africa, prompting a need for solutions.

Habeck, also the Minister for Economic Affairs and Climate Change, made the remarks whilst delivering the keynote address at the fourth German African Business Summit (GABS) at the Sandton Convention Centre in Johannesburg.
