Nigeria 2023: Tinubu receives major boost as court sacks dancing governor

A Nigerian court has sacked Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State nicknamed the ‘dancing governor’ and ordered that Gboyega Oyetola, an ally of frontline Presidential hopeful, Bola Tinubu, be inaugurated as governor. On 13 January 2023, Governor Adeleke, a member of the main opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) visited President Muhammadu Buhari at the State House where he showered encomiums on the President for not interfering in the Osun governorship election that he won.
