Cameroon: Meet Louis-Paul Motaze, the nephew who would be king

Considered the spiritual son of the Cameroonian head of state, the minister of finance would be one of the most well-placed candidates for the top office if President Paul Biya, who celebrated his 90th birthday on 13 February, were to hand over power.

The Unity Palace has opened its doors once again. On 6 January, ceremonial carpets were carefully cleaned and rolled out, welcoming accredited journalists into the palace to assist in coverage of the day’s festivities.
