The Mauritius Commercial Bank’s (MCB) cross-border activities have grown substantially over the years, with a cumulative average growth rate of roughly 30% in foreign exposures to reach $4.3bn in fiscal year 2022, says CEO Alain Law Min in an interview with The Africa Report.

The MCB’s international activities account for more than 50% of the bank’s operational profit, as the bank has developed an operating model based on a three-pronged strategy of international diversification, digital transformation, and sustainable development over the last few years.
