Kenya: Ruto now targets Uhuru, Raila business empires

President William Ruto’s government has announced moves seen as an attempt to target and end the dominance of business empires of his predecessor Uhuru Kenyatta and his opponent opposition leader Raila Odinga.

If successful, this power play is expected to have a significant impact on the dominance of East Africa Spectre Limited, a gas cylinder supplying company in Kenya and across the East Africa region, linked to Odinga’s family, and Brookside Dairies, a milk processing company, owned by the Kenyatta family.
