Valerie Labi, the CEO of Mana Mobility, is on a mission to democratise electric vehicles in Ghana. Central to this idea is moving the budding electric vehicle space from procurement to production.

During a two-hour conversation at her office in Osu, Accra, in addition to a test ride of her company’s latest electric bike, Labi talked about the urgency for made-for-Africa micro-mobility solutions.
