Kenya: Small businesses feel pinch as government rejigs dormant levies

Implementation of a decade-old levy, suspension of tax waivers, and barring mergers over tax dues are major shockers that small businesses in Kenya are facing as various state agencies tighten tax-related policies.

This will see small businesses such as publishers, installation service providers, and construction suppliers, among others, come under tight scrutiny.
