The enmity between General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan and Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo ‘Hemeti’ has inevitably devolved into a conflict that is increasingly resembling a civil war.

With the shaking of walls, dull sounds of anti-aircraft artillery, and the thick black smoke welcoming locals to a new day, the inhabitants of Khartoum, never before exposed to war like this, have had to accept this daily burden, especially with the initial numbers of 248 killed and 2,460 injured throughout the country.
