Chad – Sudan: Itno mobilises security networks amid neighbouring violence

With the conflict between President Abdel Fattah al-Burhan and his former second in power-cum-foe Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo continuing to wear on, Chad is keeping itself informed on an hourly basis about threats to its eastern border.

Uncertainty remains in Sudan, where fighting resumed on 15 April between the country’s two main armed forces: the President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council Abdel Fattah al-Burhan and Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo, known also as Hemeti.
