An oil dispute between Cameroon and Chad has turned into a diplomatic row that involves powerful figures from both countries. Two companies – Savannah Energy and Perenco – are at the heart of the tensions. The Africa Report investigates.

Since Chad’s ambassador to Cameroon was summoned to a meeting on 20 April, tensions have been rising between the two neighbouring countries.
