Ethiopia: Tigray-Amhara leaders talk amid reported rights abuses

While challenges persist, leaders from Tigray and Amhara regions met last month to discuss the biggest roadblocks to achieving sustained peace. 

On 11 June, a delegation led by Getachew Reda, chief administrator of Tigray’s interim administration, travelled to Bahir Dar to meet with Yilkal Kefale, the head of the Amhara region, along with other regional officials and civil society representatives.
