The key player in Nigeria’s tech ecosystem, who has strong links with Silicon Valley, is at the heart of a controversy over past tweets.

No sooner had Bosun Tijani become Nigeria’s minister of communications, innovation, and the digital economy on 16 August, than a wave of criticism against him was triggered, thanks to comments he made years ago.
