For the second half of his term, the CEO who wants to turn the pan-Africa telecommunications giant into a technological platform is embarking on a trajectory towards solidifying his legacy and that of the company.

MTN Group’s CEO Ralph Mupita is a self-controlled public speaker, as seen by his close associates. “Even if the kitchen was on fire, Ralph would give the impression of being at ease,” one of them says.
