As observer reports emerge citing widespread voter intimidation in rural areas by ZANU-PF and collusion by the NEC, The Africa Report provides an eyewitness account from polling stations in Manicaland.

Events in Mutasa District, some 31 kilometres from Zimbabwe’s third largest city of Mutare, offer some clues about how voting went down in the country’s rural areas.
