Created during the dos Santos era, Angola’s sovereign wealth fund is still finding its feet under the Lourenço administration.

Launched in 2012 with an endowment of $5bn, Angola’s Fundo Soberano de Angola (FSDEA) is modelled on sovereign wealth funds of other oil economies such as Norway and the Gulf States.
