Somalia has banned TikTok, Telegram, and betting app 1xBET, saying they contribute to immorality and are used by terrorists.

Having made his fortune and name through TikTok, Somali social media star Bilaal Bulshaawi was surprised to learn that the Somali government had shut down several social network applications, including TikTok.
