Tanzania in a bind over DP World concessional deal

In a move that has attracted widespread criticism, the East African nation has entered into an agreement allowing concessional management of its harbours and investment in logistic corridors.

A deal between Tanzania’s government and UAE logistics giant DP World is stirring public anger in the East African country, which could derail President Samia Suluhu Hassan’s agenda.
