The US is ramping up sanctions on Sudan’s Rapid Support Forces even as it courts their participation in Jeddah peace talks.

The Joe Biden administration on 6 September announced its highest-profile sanctions yet on Gen. Mohamed Hamdan ‘Hemeti’ Dagalo’s paramilitary Rapid Support Forces, or RSF.
