Emmerson Mnangagwa’s family cabinet selection and widespread criticism of Zimbabwe’s sham election indicate the country’s continued diplomatic isolation.

President Emmerson Mnangagwa was re-elected for a second term in a widely disputed election condemned by election observer missions who said that Zimbabwe’s polls failed to meet regional and international standards.
