Five qualifying matches out of five takes the team to the Africa Cup in style.

“We are going to the Africa Cup of Nations!” Supporters of Botswana’s national team danced themselves into a frenzy after the 1-0 victory over Chad ensured that they qualify for the 2012 finals in Equatorial Guinea and Gabon.

It is the first time that the Zebras have qualified, and they have done it in style, winning all five of their games.

Striker Jerome Ramatlhakwane has shone, scoring five of the seven goals in their campaign, including the home and away rout of Tunisia.

The team’s coach, Stanley Tshosane, has also won plaudits for his side’s organised ?approach.
