Russia's invasion of Ukraine has seen countries scramble to ensure they are ready for war. In Africa, the acquisition of military equipment has clearly diminished – by 13% from 2015 to 2020. But faced with numerous security threats, the continent remains particularly vulnerable. Who can ensure the sale of arms remains intact in Africa? In this investigation, we will focus on three main players: Aboubacar Hima, Ivor Ichikowitz and Rafi Dermardirossian.
