Cloudflare is a free software that allows you to improve your navigation by saving you time. It will come between you and The Africa Report. When you ask to see a page on our website, Cloudflare takes a picture of it and shows it to you. If another visitor wants to see the same page, Cloudflare will simply show the photo of that page instead of sending the request back to WordPress, our content management system. This prevents you from loading the page too long.

The technical name of the Cloudflare cookie is “__cfduid”. It has a lifespan of one year.

The Africa Report is a free news website, which remunerates its editorial staff in part through advertising revenues. The advertisements on our website are the result of partnerships between The Africa Report and companies that show an interest in our content and therefore wish to promote their product or service on The Africa Report.
